Tormented Choir is a Christian music ministry dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and faith through the power of gospel music. Founded by Tom Collinson, who has walked his own long journey with mental health challenges, the organisation was born from both pain and purpose.
Drawing on his talents in music and computing, Tom envisioned a platform that could reach people across the world—especially those struggling with mental health—reminding them that they are never alone and that God’s love remains steadfast.
At Tormented Choir, the goal is twofold:
- To create and share uplifting gospel music that points listeners toward Christ.
- To use music as a channel of comfort and encouragement for anyone battling inner struggles, offering a safe space where faith and mental wellbeing can meet.
In this pursuit, gothic gospel music is often created, blending deep lament with sacred hope — a sound that reflects both the weight of human struggle and the light of divine grace. Through innovation, creativity, and a heart for service, Tormented Choir seeks to transform torment into testimony, using sound to carry light into the darkest places.
